No hate...just pure frustration...I can deal with almost any other types except the "wannabe rippers"...

 

Fair-weather douchebags that only surf when the little swellinfo guy is green

Tourists are the worst. Especially when you get a whole gaggle of them right where the waves break just looking around.

Longboarders who have no leash and ditch their board on stomach high sets therefor leaving the board to almost hit you

 

Not on the list but Kite Surfers that decide to slice through the line up. It's a big f@cking ocean. A$$holes could easily ride anywhere but noooo, they have to ride right where everyone else is sitting. These idiots are WAAY more dangerous than the dumbest SUPer. SUP guys, Longboarders dropping in on every wave, tourists, wanna be Pros, they are annoying for sure but Kite surfers make me fly into a berserker rage.

hey CyC, I heard there is an uppity kiteboarder in Northend OC who got put in his place this fall, they are the pits when they mix it up with surfers

Also, I have specifics I cant stand from OC:

there is one guy in OC who a few people call the session killer. he has gray hair and paddles for everything and gets about 1/10 waves he paddles for

there is another kid who moved to OC around 2007, he sucks, his attitude in the lineup is garbage, he now works for the city, but my god, kid/guy is a tool

the final one is mini-mexi and his blonde buxom wife. they kill a session

This happens at every beach in the summer. There is a certain gravitational pull of tourists towards surfers. I think it's kind of like an out-of-body experience for them.

 

Yeah MIS, I heard about the Kiteboarder incident too. His Kite-toting brethren are worse down the south end.
The Mini-Mexi guy and his blonde wife are quite possibly the biggest jacka$$es on the island.
Agreed. Each category has its share of idiots.

 

I kinda like the deer in the headlights look they(tourists) give as I come flying down the line. Gets my prey drive going. I always steer away though.
