It's a shame that it's going to be really choppy

    if surfing doesn't work out

geet an inflatable tube, and enjoy

Chop is still fun to be in, maybe a little dangerous, but you certainly learn how to handle yourself. Also, I think some of the different period swells will be more of a hindrance than the wind. As the week progresses though, there seems to be less interference from small swells with the major wave producing one.

Yeah, i know what you're sayin

But with the chop, it's usually a real pain to get out

(if you are riding like a fish, fun shape, long board, or anything with a thick nose)

    if you can't duckdive

But if you can get out there, you might be able to find a nice shoulder, and it will be a really fun week

I just got in from Surfing Cocoa all day. It was crap, but fun mid morning at the Pier. And then down by ocean Sports Worl, where the contest was supposed to be, it was good after low tide. I'll be tomorrow will be realy fun North of the Cape. Cocoa should be good also, but the Swell is swinging wide into the Northern spots.

I just got back at 7:30 from surfing all day in cocoa beach!

At 6 A.M-10 it was really poor, all wind chop

At 10-3ish it cleaned up a bit

At 4-7 it was really really big and pretty clean at 16th street/flying fish house.

(i'm talking like really nice left breaks that are about shoulder high, and sets as big as head high +)

It was amazing, pics to come soon!

Yesterday Jax was pretty choppy with little to ride, but today has been going off good. I saw some chest to head high sets, but there are too many swells going every which direction and it made riding any of the waves tough. My level of experience became painfully obvious today, and I stress the painful part.
