Rents used to live in San Diego, I used to go out every year for a month or two. Freaked me out the first time I had a sea lion swim up to me.

 

yall reckon they taste good? i think i might grille some up when i head over there. i was going to eat some iguanas in costa rica but i was never able to catch any.

That sounds like a perfect day for me. I feel like the cool thing to do now when people start surfing and grab a shortboard and try and rip it. I went the oppo way, I like my fat log and riding in knee high peelers. And then I laugh at the people on the 5'6"s trying to ride the same waves. It's all about what you make of it!

keeping to mellow longboarding in california, a great place to log from knee to overhead is san onofre (san o) down in the other sc, san clemente. the sunset sessions are very mellow with few kooks and most of the hipsters are at work waiting tables.
