haha for real though why would you do that to your boys??? I've got a hard enough time convincing them that this 2-4 blown out sheet tomorrow will be worth putting them into 20 degree air and 40 degree water. and y'all are doing this... for kicks?
Nah, it actually raises money for the Special Olympics. Every year we get a group together, have some beverages and make the plunge. Its a good time

I volunteered for a few special Olympics in VB years ago.. great organization, truly inspiring event. didn't realize it but I guess all the plunges are for special Olympics. which is cool, you've inspired me to check out the one here this year. how's that for an educational thread??? suck it pancake dreamer!!! sheeeittt y'all up in Jerz too? more power to ya bud.

Is it special Olympics? I hadn't done it in two years because of other things I got going on but did it for 4 years in a row before that. Could of sworn in was for cancer. Either way it was a good time and for a good cause.
F that! 40F and below is too cold for my bare skin. I surf all winter, but no wetsuite? No thanks. Props to the folks who do it, especially the ones doing it for a charity.
