I'm not an Eddie Rothman fan, but the points he made seem valid. I feel bad about what wealthy people have turned Hawaii into, and it's only getting worse. Money is power, while logic is lost. Sad.
Money creates profound imbalance, and disconnect worldwide. Money lust is trashing everything, including the planet itself. It appears the ASP has fallen victim to this.
he rambles. demons or not the asp has raised the tide for many hawaiian boats. other dots in the pacific don't have this.
"Let me give you a tip on a clue to men's characters: the man who damns money has obtained it dishonorably; the man who respects it has earned it. Run for your life from any man who tells you that money is evil. That sentence is the leper's bell of an approaching looter. So long as men live together on earth and need means to deal with one another - their only substitute, if they abandon money, is the muzzle of a gun." Francisco D'Anconia
exactly. some transplanted philly rat talking about pure-blooded hawaiians like he's one of them. the creep is just pissed they're not bowing & scraping before him & his "hui" anymore. he's an old, washed up thug. does he make some potentially valid points? sure...but even a blind squirrel finds a nut once & a while.
He was right about the 5 star event in Vee Bee being moe exciting than 8 to 10' Death wave pipe contest.
Gonna have to agree with you on this. Got "Welcome to Paradise, Now go to Hell" for xmas, and it definitely gave me a more comprehensive understanding on where these guys are coming from, and it gave me a better appreciation for their frustrations.
the only thing i got from that book was an understanding of how big a narcissistic twat waffle chas smith truly is.
Lame. I had a feeling that my statements, which I still stand by, would bring you out of the shadows. I am self employed, college educated, and have worked my a$$ off since I was 15. I've never taken a dollar dishonorably, or been a looter, and it's extremely ignorant on your part to insinuate either. Is money a neccasary evil? Absolutely. Is money an appropriate measure of a mans worth? Absolutely not. Is money the root of humanities biggest issues? Definitely. I'm assuming you're so defensive about money to justify your lack luster work situation. In other words, your work isn't exactly what you'd like to be doing every day, but you love money, and you're making it, so it's justifiable. For you, money is the priority, while being present in life takes the back seat. I understand it's hard for most people to wrap their head around this, including yourself. I'm sorry that you're lost in the allure of financial prowess, while casting the real wealth of life aside. These may help to clarify what I'm saying: *Kalani Chapmen states a profound FACT in this as well 2 more vids coming because you can only put 1 per post.
Nope, make a very good living but hate hypocrisy and whiners. You wouldn't be on this site, typing on your computer or cellphone, driving anywhere or even surfing if it wasn't for a desire for some to become wealthy.
I never doubted if you "make a very good living". Congratulations, but that doesn't make you a wealthy man. This clearly is going right over your head. I was nice enough to provide 3 vids to help clarify my point, and based on the speed of your reply, you obviously didn't watch any of them. That just reassures your ignorance on the matter. Insinuating that I'm a dishonorable looter is rediculous and idiotic. Imagine if I wasn't those things irl. That would make you a rediculous idiot irl.
but yet you seem to have issue with wealth. why is that? in most cases it's out of jealousy or lack of achievement in ones own life. you know, it's better to tear others down then elevate oneself kind of thing....
