Wetsuite advice for Oneill

a suite in a suite........f0ck... maybe some chain mail to protect from the the chomp chomp

my 5/4 pyrotech is too hot. I've only used it once this year so far.

 

I had an oneill 3/2.

Hated it would not buy oneill again.

Rip curl and xcel are much better.

suite in a suite was before taped and sealed seems. just stitched then . Those were the good old cold days in the past . Yeah 5/4 is a steamer , even in 38 degree water .

 

Rip curl spring suite under an excel 5/4?

 

I have tried rip curl, body glove, and xcel

xcel 5/4 drylock is the best
everyone I ever talk to a bout a 6 mil says its too hot

2 hooded 4/3 xcels and a hooded 5/4 saw me through EVERY swell with warmth and comfort, rarely had to put on a wet one (the bane of winter surfing)

 

since this is a wetsuite thread,does anybody know any surfshops in new jersey from central to about point pleasant that carries hyperflex suits?im in need of a new 6/5,have about a $350 budget.havnt bought a new suit in almost 5 years,and it was from derf whos shop in sb got destroyed by sandy.i don't like to cross the ocean county Dixie line,different breeds down there I do not belong.

im not too familiar with the prices these days its been a while,any decent quality suit no matter what brand il take.I just know hyperflex is cheap and its what I been using for years
