Bagged is fun, but it's kind of silly at the same time. I prefer static.

K20 box with a built big block for the mother ****ing win.

Or c with straight 6, 3 on the tree.

There's a super clean apache up here for sale. Stupid ass paint though, that would be sanded down in a hurry.

Doing a 2 month Mex drive through this summer. It may not look surfy and in fact looks kinda lame, but super reliable, you can sleep in it, can haul lots of boards, and can pick up others to split that gas bill. Early 2000s Toyota Sienna....Can be had for 3000 in great shape and under 200000 miles, super reliable.....for what we are doing, the perfect surf vehicle. In fact, the lame soccer mom look will be a bonus when we are trying to stay inconspicuous as possible in MEx.

I really want an AWD Previa but a Sienna would be a much more practical choice. The captains' chairs in those are sick.

This would work good also for a trip like that. 90's Mazda MPV.

How's the reliability factor on those MPVs? Anyone had one? I remember my friend had one back in the early 2000s and it broke down a few times but it may have had tons of miles on it. Also, anyone have a Honda Odyssey on here and can speak to their reliability?

Man I sure feel manly asking about all these minivans...

The cool MPV's have the same problem Previas have, it's been too long since they made them, most of what you find is going to be old enough that anything could go wrong.

That's a good point, I couldn't put any trust in a Mazda anyway. Thought it looked cool for a mini van though.

They are rad, proper 4 wheel drive with low range, and I think body-on-frame, basically a truck with a minivan body.

my friend has an 02 odyssey with candles in every cupholder and a blanket with a weird pattern pinned to the ceiling. she's nearing 200k miles so i'm assuming its pretty reliable.

Got my surf vehicle! Probably won't get it down to the North end of CB for a while. Now I can be a kook in the water and on the beach!
89 4Runner with three inch suspension lift and 33 inch tires. It looks like a baby monster truck.
    I'm slightly overwhelmed.

I make trips down to OBX from LI to visit family allot. One year we rented a big ol van. Like the ones that the transport old/retarted people in. A work van with like 3 rows of seats basically. Granted I wasn't living out of it but it had plenty of room for both LBs and SBs under the seats, plenty of room for all the gear plus luggage and room to lounge. I'm actually in the market for a new rig and part of me really wants a work van. Could be set up to suit my surfing habit perfectly. Probably not a bad choice for just a guy or two making a trip either

Yeah... I had that for my VW bus. My driveway is on a hill. I don't think that 4 by 4 is going to work... lol

    Here you go:

Kind of looks like it has a body lift? Maybe it's just the angle. Regardless, looks like so much fun!
