I've been messing around with electronics for years, mostly audio stuff for guitars. Beginning of this cold water season, I started making 9v battery powered warming inserts for myself. I'm going to be giving them a shot this coming swell. Wish me luck! If they work, I'll be one happy New England surfer. So sick of being frozen.
Nice one, Tard. I have some 7 mil bombs, they do ok. I tend to stay in for way too long, I think that's where my issue is. Between working outside and surfing, my hands and feet are shot. Raynauds phenom is my best guess.
Hope you don't electrocute yourself bro... If you don't, tell us how it goes! Actually, if you do... Tell us how it goes!
No cords....it's a simple very low voltage system, if water hits the battery, the only thing that would happen is that I wasted a perfectly good battery. If it works....I'm not telling.
I made a silicone housing for the battery smart a**. If i didn't get wet, I wouldn't be crying about it in the first place.
