Perhaps one of the dumber things done in the city. Fairly good casino. Buyer comes in and demolishes it with plans to build a mega resort on par with what became Revel. Timing was terrible between the economy taking a dump and Revel being built. The new casino never happened. We all know what became of Revel. The lot sits empty.

    Dock's Oyster House.
The rest of AC can fall apart but I'd cry if this place went under..... amazing food

AC has always been like a 25 year old young alcoholic, always asking for money, always telling you about the good times they've had, and always swearing, "this time its going to be different." " so, can you help a brother out?"

Now AC is like a 60 year old alcoholic, always asking for money, always telling you about the good times they've had, and always swearing, "this time its going to be different." " so, can you help a brother out"

gotta say...I love ac. It's an hour away, super cheap & nice rooms, great restaurants, waves(occasionally)...

I used to go down to play poker alot. Always brought a board but never once actually got surf there.

Great for a flat weekend when you would otherwise sit on the couch

with over 100 murders a year, AC will never be worth its real value.

boot the low lifes out of stanley and back maryland. put public housing in Pville.

I have no problem outing this spot, it's there for whoever wants to surf it. "Metros". Head north on Atlantic Ave, drive past all of the casinos into the "sketchier" part of AC. Make a right on S. Vermont Ave, park in front of the crack den. Great waves.

Don't get out of the water alone, get out of the water at least 30 mins before darkfall, leave nothing of value in your car. Surfer there for 4 years in college, never had any issues. great waves...

    ventnor is really old.
    the inlet is dinosauric.
still has the ambience; you know, of a nice location...
    its just that darn punctuation...
