Hmmm...the technology and concept has been tested and seen as reliable in test cases. From what I understand the issue is the ceramic vs. rare earth magnets...

Although this particular product may not tickle your fancy...as a research area...it does have some limited credibility. If I was living in any red triangle area...I wiukd consider purchasing one. As well, I would do a bit more research on it...rather than immediately calling it some sort of snake oil.

 

I have a domesticated Great White...bring him with me every time I paddle out. He Focks up all other predators that may be lurking under his owner. The only downside is lugging his ft 3000lb ass from the water to the back of the truck over the sand.

I'd be much happier if someone invented some sort of cart to help me with my real problem.

what is needed is a controlled experiment...

we could go to tallows beach; 2 attacks last 24 hrs; 1 fatal.
i spent about 8 months in OZ; i saw a huge whale shark on phillip island but the only real sharks i saw
were at tallows.
we could test it there.
(btw tallows is also called ballina and byron bay)....

LOL^. It looks like the magnet has SOME effect on sharks. Which is a lot more than having nothing. Could give peace of mind to people who are paranoid out on the water. I'm not hating on it

 

And.....until such time as the "controlled experiment" is finished and subject to peer review....save your money, unless of course, one finds it irresistibly fashionable, and you just have to be, you just have to be..... a "fashionista"!! Oh, it is all the rage!!!
