    Water is friggin cold up here! Haven't felt it this cold since the late seventies/early eighties.

    idk man last year was pretty effin cold.we had that polar vortex thingy.this years been pretty mellow,we had some freezing conditions where it was absolutely brutal.surprised at how much snow we got

    All I know is I surfed a lot more last year, this year the crap surf and cold water has really quieted my drive.

    And we may get a little taste of this tomorrow in Southern NC. Been a cold February but waves have been good. Hope you got out Sunday.

    water Temps in the mid 40's in southern nc. Definitely not going be iceberg dodging.

    This one gets me. Surfed a day like this in Cape May as a kid, and trust me... wetsuites were not what they are today. I remember it was perfect surf, totally made of slush.

    Idk... Has the water really been that cold? The water?? Yea the air makes it worse, but I haven't been that cold idk maybe the suites are much better now? My suite is three seasons old and it's still warm. Years ago I would be hard pressed to get two seasons, the third was always cold. What do you think?? It's hard to believe the water is 35..

    There were icebergs here last Wednesday. In the water. Sand frozen and got broken up into mini boulders basically. Tide must brought them out because they were everywhere in the line up. Nothing like that picture, but Iv never seen nothing like that
