Well, they might uphold the punk ethos of anti-establishment, equality,freedom, individualism, anti authoritaranism, free thought and direct action. Punk music and life style has many sub genres/cultures so I guess it depends on your definition of punk attitude that applies.

We all have to evolve or die. Every punk I know that didn't... is dead. I used to have the DK shirt with "Nazi Punks Fu(k Off!" You still think swastikas are cool! The real Nazis run your school! (I'm a teacher) They're coaches (me) business men ( spent 7 years in commercial finance) and cops (not me) I also had a Fu(k Authority button. You can still be subversive... You just have to be a little less obvious.
