Anyone have any thoughts on these 2 boards and which seems like a better all around board for shin to head high east coast?

Your point? Love my v3 rocket...imo, good all arounder. Can't speak for the vapor. I really have grown to prefer wider tail block boards. it seems all the boards I own now have larger tail blocks then what I use to ride. As soon as I see a high 5, gonna buy one.
Depends on your size. My buddy is 5'6", 145 and rides the Vapors just about every day. With his size, he can surf just about every day on that board in VB. From what I can see, if you can generate your own speed, you can kill it in the wave range you described. Additionally, it is cheaper than those Lost boards. Go to Waveworks and tell them KillaKiel sent ya. I have seen that board take some abuse. Here's another question…are you trying to cause some mayhem? The most radtastical guys at the beach are the Lost owners. I have seen guys incapable of standing get sponsored within a week of buying one. They are also the reason for and not limited to 9/11, ISIL, Punk rock music, the Eastern Shore arsons, deadbeat dads, tailer parks, heart attacks, cancer, AIDS, Fukishima, Sacco but not Vanzetti, broken condoms, Justin Bieber, erectile dysfunction, ShredMachine, and the guy that dropped in on you last swell to name a few. Yep, it is all too true. So there ya go! Buy that Lost and get lost in the anarchy that you will cause. It will put you in the mindset of "What would Alan Iverson do?" Oh…and Solid makes a good board but it doesn't lead to a cool sticker and hell raising like the Lost will.
