Anyone else think its a pain the a** having to put on a detached hood?? water always seems to get in. anyone got suggestions besides buying a whole new wetsuit with an attached hood to make this process a little less annoying?

Try tucking it in under the wetsuit neck. May need a buddy to help you get it right and zip it up tight. I saw someone yesterday with a hooded vest worn under his wetsuit. thought that was a good alternative to a new suit with attached hood or tucking in a regular hood.

I've always worn my hood outside of the wetsuit. It sheds water away from the neck and I never get flushed through the neck. Try wearing a cap instead of a full hood. The cap is nowhere near as restricting and still keeps you plenty warm. Just my 2 cents worth...
