I technically got shot in the ass once. My dad's a big trap shooter, so I was collecting empties while some dudes were shooting skeet about 70 yds away. Next thing ya know I thought I got stung by a bunch of bees, but I look at the top of my arse and I was all marked up from bird shot. No broken skin, but techinally still got shot in the arse.

 

And as far as a code...if you don't live by your own set of values you define for yourself are you even really a man. I think not.

...in my short tenure I have learned:

Utopia is desirable but probably unattainable (without the proper ________)
Hate is not an illusion
There are plenty of middle aged guys on the EC that still shred and like to travel
There are plenty of middle aged guys on the EC that don't shred and are stoked
The SI Forecast is not gospel and you still need to understand how swell is created
Spandex full suit_s should only be worn by ladies in the NE who charge
...I am realizing as I type that this site offers so much and it's changed me forever (well maybe, I have also learned that sarcasm should be embraced).

Man I really got to watch that movie again. I've only seen it once but so many referneces go right over my head because I don't know that flix very well.

 

ive learned that there seems to be quite a bit more males than females here,
however when i go to my local beach
there are twice as many females actually surfing than males...hmmm

 

They've got The Big Lebowski on Netflix now (streaming or DVD). I just watched it again last weekend, what a classic.

 

Really? The ratio of males to females is about the same at my break as it is here. In other words, lots of men, few if any women.

 

Scarecrow I can watch that over and over and it just never gets old.

 

basing it on last summer and just general observations,,not talking about the washout or big surf breaks,,but was really suprised at the number of females last summer was least 3 to 2 ratio or half and half on many days

 

That's because South Carolina doesn't have but two-foot glass a few times a month. I.E. girly waves.....
