    and why not?
    surfers have this unnecessary "i'm serious about my surfing" aspect.
    softboards inject a more playful option into our recreation.

    i have film of JOB when he was about 15 years old (in the mid-nineties).
    he was doing the same type of thing; clowning around while surfing pipe.
    the behavior is hardly new.

    On one hand I think it's funny, on the other I can see how people would be annoyed by him, always looking for attention, "look at me look at me!" But dude is talented so who's going to say anything to him? HAHA
