    NOAA Wavewatch is all over this one all of a sudden. Low blows up east of OBX Friday/Saturday with 15 foot wave heights. I know it will all change 10 times before next weekend, but topics have been boring lately, so why not a hype thread?

    This particular model is basically saying 15' @ 11 seconds for next Friday just off Delmarva.

    4.80m. 10.3sec 255 deg swell dir.

    Good on'ya....I think this is a good swell to psychoanalyze swell info because it has been all over the board.

    I think the longer range longer period, beginning to middle of next week is where we get the goods (mid-Atlantic).

    Right now SI is only showing 4s @ 7ish for the weekend with questionable winds. As I have stated before...SI does a pretty good job on the wind prediction but the swell height on this type of swell seems to always be a bit erratic.

    Why such the disparity on swell height versus NOAA report SI?

    Of course it'll be firing because I will be 5 f@cking hours away from the coast on a trout fishing trip.

    man...earlier when I looked at Nags Head on SI it looked nothing like this. Looking much better...not sure what happened on the report earlier.
