it's been so weak, choppy, etc here this winter/spring that i've been spending my time refreshing the 30 sec free-view at steamer lane and their world rocking 4-5 BOMBs on some other site lately

it sucks everywhere, right or left

 

He must be stuck on the freeway trying to get to the super crowded surf where he will get limited waves

oh and the EC coast pumped out Slater....

There are no waves on the East Coast, it's really not worth being a 'surfer' out here.

yeah, nobody should surf anywhere ever on the East Coast.

in fact, everybody should just move to California and surf.

ahhh seldom - its "worth it"........."difficult" might be more appropriate.....it was difficult today; solid 2ft
sets yet only every 20 mins w/bone chillin offshores and cloudy....should i stay or should i go now? i bailed.

They are very impressionable and my get mixed messages in what you are trying to sell them on. One only needs a board and stoke and you have a making of world champion. yea so mr.whoever if u got into surfing to get sponsors and actually make a living from surfing,then ur either on the wrong coast or idk man,u need a new hobby.do it because its fun,fuk sponsors,hard to make a living being a free surfer when we average a swell a month,2 at best.thats not worthy of sponsor dollars.most eastcoast surfers that are sponsored is because they travel to Hawaii and indo,before they got their sponsors,so they were good.

when u reached the point,sponsors will come looking for you.its not the other way around.

Steamer is the standard bro. Probably headed down tomorrow. If I can finish two days of work in one day today. Hopeful, not guaranteed.

 

When i was on the north shore I met so many white guys that thought they were real cool and when I said i surfed in New Jersey they laughed and everyone of them said "didn't know there were even waves over there bro" .....your telling me none of these guys ever see the articles on surfline about NJ being Good to epic??? clearly its not Hawaii but i just dont like the vibes of the people over there who probably were rich and moved from florida/California and now think there locals and only they can surf

 

^ most locals were very friendly just the transplant white dudes were annoying as hell
