Roy, you claim in that blog post that rcarter found and posted that you're a "truth fetishist". Oh yeah? Furnish the proof. It's so simple. Show us one Shred of proof of the money exchange and financial transaction.

Fool's Progress - me hitting some rad surf breaks conveniently whilst on the road for my perpetually workaholic professional life is not at all a larger than life claim of selling a million dollar board that many on here wouldn't ride if you paid them. Roy planted fake info for all sorts of faux-news outlets to pump SEO for him and his biz.

Would any news outlets be interested in a dude that travels for work and goes surfing and skating whenever possible (mind you, not that great at both)?? Hell no. Many other people do that and do it much better than I. It's not news or sensational, even if it's a reality you'd like to see yourself in.

This is about someone laying an unfounded, unprecedented, unbelievable claim to their own sensational, yellow journalism benefit and showing zero empirical evidence to support. My case is hardly comparable. It's just a dude who manages to surf and skate with mediocre performance at some pretty cool places in between working his tail off for a living. Why do you even want pics of me going over the falls when you can get higher resolution photos of local pros shotting glassy tubes and piers at the same spots by going on Surfline or MSW or here?

    C'mon brah. Let's put 2 and 2 together and not get 5.

Yep but seems a bit hypocritical how when folks here do the same thing Roy talks down to them and acts like an ass but he is guilty of the same BS. No wonder he is a holocaust denying douche bag.

'Emperors New Clothes' syndrome. Ahh yes I understand what your saying. Fire wire rules the universe of surfing along with grain surfboards in the realm of cedars and shakas.

Yeah that pivot fin looks gay as fu ck

Yes I've done two boards with it, these are double 10oz top and bottom though, weight is 14 pounds on the first one and will be about 12 on the second.

This isnt about your skill, his skill, its about making claims with no backup. Listen spicoli, I admire what you say you do, I think its sweet that you get to travel for work and go shred at the same time. I also think its sweet that Roy says he made bank on a board he built himself.

So 2 + 2 = 4, Someone who lies makes claims to achieve recognition in many forms.

This thread is titled mid length madness, there are pictures of a mid length. Very few words. None about a million dollar board, true or not, you spoke out about something irrelevant to the thread topic and there is absolutely no validity coming from a dude who makes claims with no backup.

What I am trying to say is let it go like you want others to stop hounding you on your job. If roy wants to argue about it more I'm sure he will bring back that 9000 page thread.

Roy, the pictures do this thing no justice. You say 1 13/16"? it looks like its 5 inches thick in the nose with the downrails? you got any better angles?

Shut the fuk up Douche Boy. You've been here all of a month so don't act like you know sh!t about SI's relationship with The Gnome. We will turn this in to another 9000 page crap storm if we damn well please and no amount of whiny crap flowwing from your yapper will change that.

Roy is a delusional moron who denies the holocaust and lashes out at anyone who does not think he is right. To Roy the insdustry and Kelly Slater have brainwashed the masses into riding the wrong boards and only Roy can show us the light. If you ride any mass produced surfboard or any board that is shaped like those the industry makes then to Roy you are a sheep. Be careful too cause Roy like to bang sheep for fun so watch your butthole around him.

Yes it's only 1 & 13/16" thick at the thickest point. The illusion of it being very thick in the nose and tail is due to most of the thickness being carried all the way to nose and tail. So, the nose and tail are thick compared with other boards but still less than 1 & 7/8"

Picking the board up it feels thin that's for sure.

I'll get it outside with a longer lens, the wide angle also appears to make the closest part of the board thicker.

The board has 44 litres of volume though...

oh carter, when are you going to wake up and realize your hate game is wack. Stick to skateboarding, youre good at that. Im sure most of us enjoy seeing pictures of you above the coping and hearing you carry conversation, rather than spew senseless teenage nonsense.

I am well aware of SI's relationship as I have been here for years and like most of us I do not agree with Roy's views. However; If someone is posting something surfing related I am going to talk about the subject.

Could you explain your theory in carrying the volume through the nose and tail?
