Hey folks, I just moved here from North Carolina and am unfamiliar on the best places to surf, especially tomorrow. I know the winds will favor Central NJ tomorrow but I am in the Ocean City area. Any suggestions on where and when to surf in southern NJ tomorrow? Thanks guys -Casey
just explore. put in time and search around for a decent spot. it's so much better that way when you are rewarded with good waves after putting in time to search. i've put in thousands of hours doing so. trust me, it's worth it.
find a spot that is breaking nice. Its all the same, really. There are all the beachbreaks and then there are all the beachbreaks that are also next to an inlet that break almost the same as all the beachbreaks. Most of it closes out because its the east coast but you already know that.
yeah like they said the best way to find a spot you like is to keep looking. As for tomorrow with a sw wind you'll want to be north of lbi
It's all sandy bottom- so you just gotta drive to find a sand bar that is shifted to the right place for each individual swell... If you where further north- I would say grab your wetsuite and head to The Belmar!
belmar looked good maybe spring lake i heard manasquan breaks good and is semi secret. maybe baybayheadhead
Excessive absences...you might have to call yourself in for a test. And Boom, it sucks today. THERE IS NO CENTRAL JERSEY. And new New Jersey resident. Go back to North Carolina. I don't say that as a meany guy. I mean get out of this state before it kills you. This ain't no place to be. And there are no killer wind blocking spots in SJ for the dreaded SW offshore. I know some jetties that may offer up some minor, and I mean minor protection. And it ain't big enough for them northern OC jetties so.....I mean north of North ST. See how I did that? New New Jersey resident and north of North St. Wow, that was amazing.
