New to the area, thinking about hiking and doing the primitive camping down there, anyone ever been, and any surf at all?

Hell yeah....dont know if camping is legal...but there are some deep water pockets and good sandbars down there> My Dad does wildlife photography down there and came back with some barrel shots to die for.....he plotted the sandbar on GPS but i haven't been back there in a year or so...couldn't tell ya if the bars are still intact....but im sure there are some empty peaks to be ridden on a big swell event! Let me know what you find. I have found some nice spots in the past on google earth by examining coastline angle and some sandbars are satalite viewable
