Yeah, but the rainbows last. My $30 rainbows are now 6 years old and are still holding together. And I am the type of person that wears sandals all year round. I also wear them after surfing, and never rinse the salt water off.
I'll second that, frost. I buy all my shiz from Ross. Yesterday, I got three pairs of boardshorts for 50 smacks. Good brands too, no junky walmart stuff. Cant beat it.
I wear shoes with Velcro snaps with socks that go up to my knees when I go to the beach.and I don't take them off when I go in the water.sure they smell when I get home but who cares.plus chicks dig Velcro straps
I don't think I ever seen a surfer with biceps.ever.or a sponger.we are noodly people,thin,and some are fat.that in between thing with 6pack abs is for 15 yr old groms.u either have a keg under ur shirt,or ribs,im somewhere in the middle lol.
A pair of leather Reef sandals I found in the parking lot. I need them to climb over the sharp rox. They're pretty small and all beat to hell. I wear Cobian Floaters out and about, because they're the cheapest sandal you can get online ($17), and it takes a while to walk through that thick cushion, but they're no good for surfing cuz they're super slippery when wet. Stupid. I like Cobians in general, but all decent sandals are ridiculously expensive.
I was there for high tide. Choppy, but scored a couple nice rides. I actually think I like it better at low incoming tide. That bar helps, while other spots are breaking in the beach.
bare feet..... it's the beach bro. if its somewhere where theres a possiblity of cactus/burrs, i might wear flip flops/sandals whatever you call em.
