http://www.surfline.com/surf-news/f...ir-four-steps-to-the-spindle-flip-540_127553/ theres the link if nobody seen it as im sure everybody in the world already seen it. somehow I think timmy currens air was a helluva lot cooler,like that wave was nothing and what he turned it into was amazing. lol I was reading the surfline comments how they are saying Flynn novaks and everybody elses backflip wasn't a legit backflip,they never had their board over their head.i never realized it til I watched all them over and over,they are basically doing cartwheels,still impressive tho. then I saw a new vid that showed Gabriel medinas backflip lol,hard to believe but if u watch his backflip,it was a legit backflip,board went over head ,and I remember people saying he stole that from Flynn which Flynn never actually did. something about maui,so many great surfers came from maui.compare that to Kauai which is 85% of the pipeline lineup,they some how get respected and sponsors for just getting a closeout at pipe.but maui is all extreme groms that could put up a good fight against slater or jjf,like meola,albee layer,clay marzo who is still the best surfer from maui,granger,kai,and plenty of others.thing about their airs tho,maui is the windiest place on earth so u cant really do that in our neck of the woods on the eastcoast.plus they have jaws
