I understand you guys are neighbors, so to just stop hanging out with him might not be that easy. But I agree with what others are saying, tell him you are not going to hang if he drinks like a fish. My ex wife was in the hospital several times with seizures due to lack of alcohol when she would slow down. You ever have a loved one have a seizure in your arms? It sucks ass! Anyway, back on topic. The only person who is going to make this dude stop, is him!

 

Get him started on heroin maybe?

This neighbor of yours is going to drink with or without you, that you can be sure of. It sounds like you already know what your gonna do, avoid him, so tell him "not today" everyday.

R-Carted, excellent idea. No, really, dope usually kills any urges to drink. And the kick is easier to boot. Get the dude on dope for a few weeks and then he can get a Suboxone script which will keep him chill from now to eternity.
