Traction pad removal

    Hey guys. Yesterday I successfully removed the traction pad from board, but now I have the sticky stuff from the old traction pad still on the board. What should I use to remove the sticky stuff so I can put the new pad on. Thanks!

    Nail polish remover (acetone) or WD-40 will work, with varying degrees of success. You could try rubbing alcohol and mineral spirits too.

    Just wear gloves and resist the urge to huff!

    60 grit sand paper and a belt sander... press hard!

    The Tard is right here- use the citrus stuff. Or goo-gone is the same.

    don't use solvents... (Acetone (nail polish remover), ipa (alcohol) or mineral spirits) it will dissolve the resin on your board.
