Might be working out of O town because I'm likely to be that banker guy with loafers but no bimmer. F that, in southern. Might even wear boots to stomp that punk.

I'm feeling less nice since I haven't surfed in 5 hours.

Thanks dude. I appreciate that. I'd get down with that. The country in me is happy to hear this. Ima roll up in there and act like a douchbag New Yorker. I love soft inconsistent waves

I'm about to go buy a bus

Orlando is a pretty good launch spot to all breaks in florida. Welcome to the area.

Thanks dude. Be there next month.

If I wasn't at work, I would post a mathematical equation with pics because I am so tickled by the shotgun remark.

In all seriousness...assuming he did it himself...was Kurt Cobain caught in Orlando traffic before he offed himself? Perhaps it is cause and effect?

I was in Venue (when it was real fresh) one night after I moved here (2010-11 ish). I went in to grab a drink and tied my dog up outside. Knowing what I know now, no one would do that but I didn't care...I wanted to wet my whistle and strike up some talk with the locals.

Roll outside shortly thereafter and someone shot a dude in front of my dog. I went up to one of the 50 cops there, asked if they wanted a witness statement. She said "Yes", pulled out her pad and I told my dog to "enlighten her". He spoke Aussie dog as eloquently as ever has been spoken this side of the Mississipp. She said "that crazy" and walked away. He has yet to be summoned...

I came here a few months ago and haven't looked back ( to Delaware). The waves are way more consistent except for june and july, and there's so much to do. The women are beautiful, and in general things are relaxed, even at work.

KK yes, good luck, and as all parties said, try and stay coastal.... talk your girl into a 45-50 commute, you can live just off the bee line and/or 520 by the coast and her commute would be 45ish? your quality of life would be waaaaay better. all those beach towns have a fun/seedy/sketch vibe, but the cops hate everybody there, looking at you like a fine-able cash cow, dsup confirmed before. If you like fishing and killing sh!t you'd find stuff to do during flat spells

I can see that happening soon if not right away. I'm still wrapping up the logistics. That's here commute now and we live about 15 miles from where she works. It's gonna be hard to top Hampton roads traffic.

I think it's funny. I like the anthropological method to a degree plus a good time.

They sound like va cops except they could be the cops...on cops.

I like the it's all about water vibe there.

Hey Killa, I was stoked for you when I read that you're escaping VagBeach.

Good move even if it is Florida. In surfing terms, perhaps think of it as one step closer to San Diego or, better yet, the tropics.

    Buena suerte!

Why not? I'm relocating to Indian River County in a few weeks. Looks like that is right in between Sebastian and Stuart. What's wrong with north or south of that? Thanks

Thanks Yankee! My house will be taken care of now and I can hopefully surf more and actually make a few more bucks so I can do that for life.

Who knows, I might be back after I'm 30 haha. I just want the most flexible job possible there so any words of wisdom or connections will be appreciated.

I am down here Floridians…but I have been going to New Smyrna considering it is closer and liking it much. Off until the beginning of September if anyone in the Orlando area is down to collaborate on trips to the inlet. It would save us a few bucks
