If this thread and MANY others quite frankly don't show what jerks are on this forum. I don't know what will. Just wanted to chime in. I'm gone again. I think I'm going to change my zoom functions. This came up on the pic of the week too so it caught my attention. Grow up internet trolls.
This...coming from a guy who posts a You Tube video of himself in ISIS garb and sounds like a teenaged Peter Griffin throwing the 'F' bomb every 3 words. You are like a bug, and the SI forum is your Zapper. You just can't help yourself, can you?
Well I'm back screw jawn or whatever or whoever doesn't like it.. Anyone is Welcome to meet me at 10st iop anytime to settle it..., oh yeah better bring your friends too
I would say don't think you are a real surfer if you permanently live on the east coast but that might upset some people. I don't have too many gripes. People who move to a place with waves for the summer and think they are a local. Especially if they are from the mid-west. People who post instagram shots of good waves and hashtag the location on dawn patrol. People who complain about the waves during a surf on the east coast.
East coast is just different u don't have sets Rollin in like some places you have to do your homework know your local break know when it works if it works tide wind direction wind speed swell height etc etc sometimes can be flat 2 hrs later 2 1/2 and rideable
Well there's more of a wave in the picture you posted versus the flatness in your profile pic is that a lake?
Sorry, No it's not. It's just a jet ski tow out. I don't even count that as actual boogie boarding since you're not actually riding the wave. At least with TOW IN surfing you're harnessing the power of the wave once you get inside. This is simply using the wave as a ramp. It's just a form of wake boarding using a boogie board. Here's an interesting article. It's always hilarious to hear boogie boarders get angry when they're not called "bodyboarders" or spongers. They take themselves way to seriously. As if it's some horrible shame to be associated with a person just having fun at the beach in the white water. lol http://www.surfertoday.com/bodyboarding/11896-tom-morey-the-term-bodyboarder-sucks Meet Mr. Tom Morey, the inventor of bodyboarding. Or, has he prefers to call it, "boogieboarding." The founder of Morey Boogie says, "the term 'bodyboarder' sucks. Sounds like a board they'd use to slide a corpse down into a body bag."
Now here's the exact same rider: Now this is sick, especially if he made it out cleanly! They don't show!
