Currently about to be wrecked by beach nourishment for the first time ever, rarely surfed, on the Delmarva.

    What??

Is there a break called Delmar? There's a town called Delmar (actually partially in Maryland partially in Delaware), but its not near the water!

I'm guessing it's one of those Chesapeake Bay breaks.

Don't take this the wrong way, but have you surfed there? I cant imagine how that picture could be NS.
Not IRI, either side. Besides IR north side just had a big beach fill project after Hurricane Sandy.

Kidrock has some good intuition. But not correct.

My 2nd guess is that long weird sharky left semi-point under that VA bridge.

Nah...I always wanted to score that spot, but this "break" is quite a long ways north of there. WAAY north.

    Really....??

I'll start at the top. Nope - - saw IRI north side several times, it was always crapola, the kids on short boards were getting bombed on the south side, I slid south into the next state where it was much, much better.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you asked us to guess. I supplied a guess. You immediately make your stupid judgment aspect of whether I've surfed your home break.

If you're gonna ask a question, but then you're ripping on people who answer your tread, well, I could say worse but I'll leave it at this: respect the answers or don't ask the question; and while you're at it, take your holier than thou act back to your shaping closet, climb offa my arse & don't rip on people for playing your game, bucko.

As for intuition, yah: KR is a boss.

But seriously, how hard is it to peg the region when the east coast is the only place to perform beach erosion replenishment & you're from Delaware & you call out Delmarva. Do you even have a point, actually?

not my home break by a long shot and the first time I've ever heard any one guess IRI north side as an answer to a question about a "rarely surfed" break. :)

It's rarely surfed IMHO because it sucks so badly & so frequently.

Keerist, it was just an off the cuff guess, lighten up Francis.

We are apparently not communicating too well here. Good luck to the other entrants in your guessing game, Alex Trabek.

By the looks of the water, it looks like it's further up in the bay. Broadkill? Does Broadkill even break?

Nevermind, misread it. That has been wrecked plenty of times.

We have a winner. Yep...get a decent enough ocean swell, and light wind and some of the rubble groins in Broadkill start peeling off like little mini points. On this day about waist high. But its all being buried under about 1 million cubic yards of Delaware Main Channel sand, so these little rock groins will be completely buried.

It's the Delaware version of Belmar. Only 2.3 foot on the regs. No hindus. Still a bit of hair gel film on the surface. You asked ;-)

I think the last time I was in Florida we actually stayed in a place called Delmar? sort of in between Pompano and West Palm?

edit oh wait that was Delray
