    Went out at lunchtime today for an hour or so. It had picked up some compared to how flat it's been here in VB for the past week-plus. Actually most of the summer so far has been a bit of a bust. Got a little choppy but was able to catch a few. Water sure was warm for here. Low 80s.

    I said I got the flat spell blues. but at least I don't live in fla and can surf ripples on a 10 foot hansen

    Prepare for the best surf you have seen in years. Soon, all my belongings go into storage as I sell my house and wait until new house allows me in. I will have no boards, soooooooo---during that time period, you will have the best hurricane sitting off the coast, with plenty of fetch, and light offshore winds.
    I hope you all appreciate my sacrifice for all of you. Life is a *****, so we surf.
