The guy who got the ticket in vb got me thinking... Bout 2 weeks ago waves were good enough to open whiting to surfing. Awesome for me extends the playing field. I surfed for about 20 minutes cuz wifey was giving stinkeye around 430 inside of the surf only flag. A lifeguard swam out and asked us a small group to move over. We did further inside surf zone. I was getting out and caught a right, still inside surf flag... I noticed swimmers on inside and went around them. Exited water when psycho lifeguard girl says come here right now! I hadwater in my ear... Said xcuse me? She said she yelled at me all day to get in surfing area... I told her calm down and please stop yelling. I told her id only been out 20 minutes and im actually leaving with my family now. She told me to immediately leave the beach. I asked her what the flag said ... She said surfing only... I turned to walk away figuring point proven.... She again told me to leave beach and manasquan....i told her im from here and she is reason most people dont think to highly of manasquans up tight rep. She called guy on quad for backup. I explained situation and she was no right talking to anyone like that ... It was her fault swimmers were in surf only zone.... I told dude they need a small buffer between surf and swim beach to clarify. He reluctantly agreed but also threatened to arrest me.... Next day they made a buffer zone! Some people are just aholes. Just sucks when they represent a group of people or town....i can still hear her yelling "leave manasquan right now!" Kooky girl prob from pennsylvania anyhow and be gone by september
I thoroughly harass all the gaurds at squan..all the summer surfers who claim local..I hit on the Summer pros womens right in front them...This is what summers all about..you know having fun dawg I've always thoroughly enjoyed causing ruckus in Squan Hey Bubz lets indulge in booze and narcos this weekend and go harass the guards at squan
Reading this story, and the other thread about being ticketed for surfing, makes me glad that my area has no lifeguards. Not the best surf, either, but at least I can enjoy it without being harassed by a self important teenager.
Thanks tard! Wanna really piss them off, bring a whistle to the beach and when you are ready to go, use it to call your kids out of the water. HA HA HA HA HA HA
See my previous thread on squan lifeguard threatening to arrest me for sitting on a lifeguard stand taking surf pics on a monday in may when the beach was closed and he was off duty. These people arent stewards of the beach... They are just a holes and need to be told. I actually call this guy a kook everytime i see his redshorts. I remember when i was young a kid on a sponge swam to point to avoid police because no beach badge.... Its never gonna change
I think you can still be arrested for surfing inlet as the law states surfing only between 10am - 4pm , where are all the do gooders that will try and change that one ?
"Kooky girl prob from pennsylvania anyhow and be gone by september" Your statement is probably right on the money. I love when lifeguards from PA tell me what to do when I live in the town year round and surf year round. I love ****ing with them. I've paid plenty of fines and they have always threatened me with being arrested. I haven't been arrested since but have seen plenty of them blow a gasket.
thank you metard if you notice, these 'women life guards' are typically 3rd person to a chair. The affirmative action hiring protocols dilute the athletic pool so severely with these weak women, the women cant even staff their own chair (there are exceptions) and are just tacked on to a chair that has enough skill/talent/whatever all at the taxpayer expense so you can get yelled at by some self important weak swimming khunt it really should just be the winners of the tryouts, no ifs, ands, or buts there is a girl, she is/was? a mainland high school teacher (and big slut, according to my friends) who guards in OC. loves yelling at people, guess all those peenusus dont fill the void in her black heart. Hi W_nd_!
dude c'mon you're suppose to ask any female in position of authority the following: https://youtu.be/CsnEIjgqW7A
No lifeguards at my local spot either and I'm happy about that. Two plus miles of undeveloped shoreline. Definitely not the best surf but we get ours from time to time. I've been out sometimes with nobody in sight on the beach or in the water. I like it that way but I might be focked if I got into trouble somehow. I'll take my chances.
Two miles of undeveloped shoreline sounds great. It's just over developed sandbars around here. I usually go out alone, there might be some fat tourist on the beach, but I'll be focked, too. I was looking at my leash this morning, wondering about its potential use as a tourniquet. ...
Who tells people to leave a beach?....Let alone a whole town... And why ?..... Because i was surfing inside the zone they allow me surf in? I was so confused. She was literally pointing at me screaming. Im 36... She prob 19. I actually laughed a little like whoa kid you really need to calm down... They all packed up and left 25 minutes later leaving wavestorms shooting at poor unprotected swimmers heads....
Hahaha all you dudes with your sh*tty beaches and sh*tty "surf towns", obviously surfing is of little importance up North, hahaha
Tourists and their money take top priority in VB. In summertime, it can seem like "Dogs and surfers, stay off the beach!"
Your first post you stated you told her to calm down; This post you stated you were "like" whoa kid you really need to calm down. This is a huge difference in the eyes of a disagreement that sounded like it was getting heated. Not doubting you were in the right, but to tell a lifeguard to calm down probably didn't help the situation. More than likely at that point she just wanted to demonstrate total authority over you by her "leave Manasquan, no wait, leave NJ....NOW" approach. Her superior likely threatened arrest just to end the confrontation. Sorry to hear that happened to you, especially as a local.
