anybody got any info on the D.R? Great prices for places up north like SWELL surf camp! thinking winter if its worth it! any info is appreciated! thanks in advance!
Oh it's worth it baby!!! Go downtown and wear expensive watches and flaunt your gringo money!! And don't forget to yell out loud, "Americans rule!!", in public places. And if you really want to be loved, scream out, "Viva Trujillo!!". Go for it, dipstick.
There are treads on the DR, do some research sparky. Having said that, Encuentro is where you surf 'up north' -- Also Playa Grande & another spot over near Las Terrenas, depending on swell/direction. Encuentro is blown out by the trades mid-morning, almost every day, so get yer ass up for DP. Plenty of places to stay in Cabarete. Sosua is for the nightlife & the chicas; rarely breaks there unless it's big swell.
