Listen..... No disrespect, but i just Google earthed the surfable Delaware shoreline... It is less than 25 miles.. Easily driven and checked within 45 min. Just look for yourself you might just find a wave that nobody else is at. Just don't ask, cause most wont tell. And any of the spots in Delaware with waves will be easily definable. Just look... its part of the fun
i agree with badbug. we have some places where you can have a good session by yourself. goood luck finding anything this time of year tho
Dude rent a plane and make sure you get up around ten thousand feet cause it's the only you can truly appreciate the vast coastline that is the Delaware shoreline. Then have the dude who you thought was your buddy but is really a bank robber who is holding your girlfriend hostage jump out the plane with the last parachute. Then decide whether or not you're gonna jump out of the plane without a parachute and catch him and hold on and then pull the chord at the last minute while holding a gun to his head negotiating the release of you girl. In other words ask yourself this; what would Keana Reeves do if he was the one in Delaware?
WTF?......... i dont no wut that guy just said, but pretty much all deleware coastline is the same. ive only surfed southern deleware tho so i dont no about the rest.
I love ir when people talk about "secret spots" in MD/Del! (ain't no secrets along this short shoreline, although you can find some empty areas if you 4-wheel drive), but what really pisses me off, is that there were a few blocks in Dewey, and a few other areas where it finally started to break again when there's a decent swell - you could actually find some surf where nobody bothered to check anymore! - but (you could have predicted it) sure enough, they f*cked it uo again with another "beach replenishment"!!! f*ck! f*ck! f*ck!!!
for real dude beach replenishment is so gay. But then again once we have a hurricane it'll whip all that sand into sand bars, then we'll all be happy.
this explains it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYdb1ZcHizg Hi I'm in Delaware.. And it shows one of those "surf spots"
ive been surfing the shores of the delaware river in edgemoore for years now, once you get over the fact your swimming in 5 inches of sludge and the occasional dead body youll realize how gnar this state really is.....bra
