Will be visiting family in NYC and wouldn't mind getting in the water.

I'm thinking of coming sometime in the next 2 months, not sure when is best. Any recommendations on some spots to surf nearby slash rent a wetsuit?

FI is a shore break, dude. Been there over the 4th of July weekend. Maybe better luck east'erer of pines. But I gave up right around there. Maybe Moses.. But that's a state park, if you know what I mean.

    Hey Toronto boy.

Me and a pal of mine want to shralp Nova Scotia.

Only problem is that we have THC dependency issues.

Would you ever be able to meet us somewhere with some BC God Bud or Girl Scout Cookies?

Thanks. Do something for Americans for once.

It will be crowded where ever you go if there are actually waves. Rockaway is closest to NYC. Crowded. Long Beach is nice because of the multiple jetties.. might be able to find your own peak with a couple guys. Gilgo isn't bad but again, crowds and you are not a Babylon resident which means parking will be closer to $30. Robert Moses is a state park and $10 if im not mistaken to park. If you head further out east you can try Smiths Point, or all the way out east to Montauk- but it is summer time and everyone who owns a board will be out there.

Really dont need a wetsuit this time of year.. maybe a long sleeve top for a chilly morning. Unless a big swell comes in and causes some upwelling you will be fine with trunks. Hope you're goofy- LI is land of the lefts :p
