Since I doxed myself yesterday, figured I'd post the only vid(to my knowledge) of me riding. My wave starts around the 52 mark...failed boost attempt but whatevs. Fun day in January.

Thanks liam...not my actual neighbourhood, just a cul-de-sacce near my house. I'm on more of a main road. I'm getting by man, but the struggle is real. If i had the money I'd be more isolated vs the gated community thing. I'd prefer my own gate.

Here's my best advice:
Get a cheap life insurance policy, then buy as much AD&D rider insurance as you can get, make your fambly rich. That stuff is dirt cheap and it doesn't require a swim test. I think it also partially pays out if they drag you out of the water after a few minutes and you're a vegetable for the rest of your life due to lack of brain O2.

Be sure you've got a DNR/no intervention in your living will. At your age, you're not gonna get meaningful brain function back after 3-4 minutes submerged.

Same here. I live in practically a shack but near the ocean. If I could I would live off the grid in hawaii on a few acres.

 

liam, the only reasonable priced place(under 750k) to do that is BI and the waves are very spread out there, I aint sayn there is no surf, but, its not like walking to the end of the block for a quick jump in the ocean

 

There goes that idea. I always thought there were places on the northern sides of Maui and Kauai with that option but it sounds like your saying they are over 750k. That's too rich for my blood. Curious though how much would a few acres on the north shore of Kauai be but it doesn't have to be in Hanalei

It's a great suggestion yes, but this dude can't swim, like AT ALL, so suggesting any type of swim technique is futile. He first has to learn to swim like a normal person before he can start utilizing any specific techniques. Basics 1st, he needs lessons. THEN he can start getting into specific techniques. Go to the YMCA pool Frost, others have said it, just do it. Now stop trolling us!
