Okay, I am sure its on here some where, but I am too lazy to look. What kind of sunblock do you guys use? Yesterday I lathered down with Hawaiian Tropic spf 4. (It was early morning) I finally went back in and lathered down wtih spf 30. BUT, by that time it was too late, burn had already started. I know, it's my fault and I should have taken better precautions! I use Hawaiian Tropic, but the 80minute waterproof-ness seems more like 10minutes. What are you fellers or ladies using?

Lately I use Blue Lizard Baby spf 30. It's greasy white zinc/titanium stuff, if you slather it on thick it seems to last pretty well in the water.

Just don't put it on until you're ready to paddle out, unless you want white gunk smeared all over your car interior.

Bourbon or Narragansett Lager work fine for me

Just kidding brah. I use the generic Neutrogena(sp?) stuff, I read somewhere that it's good and won't kill you. They make it in 70 too so you don't have to get out of the water.

    Nice! HAHAHA

I use a SPF 50 Coppertone Sport Stick on the face, doesn't run into my eyes and stays on for hours. I put SPF 30 Coppertone Sport lotion on my body, keeps me from burning but allows me to tan without burning. If I have a really long session like 4-6 hours I'll reapply once after 2-3 hours. Seems to do the trick.

Thanks Scarecrow. I keep hearing the No-Ad stuff that Wally World sells is supposed to be good. I've been using Hawaiian Tropic for so long, but I need a change.

NJ, I meant before surfing, not to attract women!

I meant before surfing too. Rub it on all over then drink some...You will feel great and forget all about the sunburn and the crappy surf too.

SPF 70 Coppertone, and add pink Zinka to the face. Seen too many friends get melanoma to screw up on sunscreen.
