It’s modern times, aka, the FB, Instagram, YELP, LinkedIn mindset of ‘what I’m doing is so important that the world absolutely must know of it immediately'

Even though it's obvious to everyone that you're a total asshat & it’s glaringly apparent.

I was there Sunday morning, at the National Park side, in the lot near the bath house. Me and the Mrs. were about to walk over the dunes. She had staged her chair and a small soft cooler with a few hoagies and drinks in it behind the van. Up comes a couple of these horsies looking for some grub. I warned her that the horsies were coming, but she didn't grab the cooler as she stepped between the cars. I wasn't gonna give up my lunch to a beast of burden, even it it was his home. As horsie #1 was starting to pick up my soft cooler with his teeth, I took action. After some verbal shooing didn't work, I looked into my van for something to grab. I was reaching for the 44" skateboard, but it was on the other side of the van, so I grabbed my folded up board bag. Apparently quickly flashing a white, 3 foot by foot object quickly at Mr. Ed was enough to freak him out. He dropped the cooler, and reared up to make a quick turn to head over for some dumpster diving.

The waves were awesome yesterday, as was the hoagie.

Still lame. Also some time ago BigMoneyT bestowed me with a redundant syllable. Please recognize that.

Great monologue, totally agree with your sentiment. I don't use social media either. Regardless, I think me getting my ass kicked by a horse at work is pretty goddang funny, and could brighten a few people's day.

The waves were fun! We've had a good couple of days. I'm glad you saved your lunch. The horses are strange- sometimes they flee as soon as one of us walks up, and sometimes you can slap them in the face without getting a reaction. I do the fin clapping thing whenever I want them to move out of my area. Usually they meander slowly away, but sometimes they get pretty pissed. Never had one get pissed enough to kick me, though.

I thought it was pretty funny. My friend Joe, who works at Assateague, was telling me about a lifeguard getting kicked. I guess it was you! :)

I like how you shrugged off the hoofed abuse from that ass and from the verbal abuse from these threadholes.
