Well it's that time of year again, when swells begin to come in upon our shores and surfers flock to the thriving metropolis and surf capital of cape cod. On Sunday, six fellow board riders and I mounted a quest to ride the waves of Cut Four, on the outer beach known as Nauset. What graced our eyes was chest high peelers, breaking left as well as right. Yea, it was good.
    Alright, enough of the oldspeak.
We surfed for about an hour and a half, incident free. Two of my friends had just caught

Aha. the auto restore didn't finish it.
Waves. They were riding in, one friend was on shore, and the rest of us were sitting out the back. We hear the kid on shore yell OH SH1t! We look back, and in mid breach an eighteen foot white has a seal in its mouth. The seal went off like a grenade, blood went EVERYWHERE. then it proceeded to give us a full display of its sharkiness
and proceeded to swim along the surface with the seal in its mouth, thrashing it as it went. The dorsal alone was as big as the smallest one of us. Needless to say we paddled in, stoked off our a$$es that we were a mere 40 yards away. We skimmed the rest of the day. There's a pretty good swell rolling through, and a sighting isn't going to keep me out of the lineup while there's waves to be had. They're out there, keep an eye out, but they haven't got me yet.
