I am from NJ. Next week, I am going to Delware to buy surfboard because of no sale taxes. I would like to know which good surf shops I should go to? I never been to Delware for many years.
I am looking for a surf shop that would have battail quad board in stock. That what I am looking for...

liquid is definitely the best shop. nice owner and good staff working there. That said their selection isn't as big as most of the shops in NJ. You could also check out east of maui and dewey beach surf shop. Both are located in dewey beach on the east side of rt 1. Last time I was in in liquid I didn't see any bat tails. good luck with your search.

East of Maui has had a WRV battail quad sitting in there for awhile now, if I remember correctly it is a tad on the larger side.

Fenwick Island Surf Shop is the last Delaware shop before you hit OC, MD & Kenny always has nice boards & selection. You could hit up Bethany Surf Shop as well. Make a day of checking out the boards starting in Rehoboth @ Liquid & hit the shops south to Fenwick Island. If you hit the shops while driving south you have seen what everyone has to offer & make a decision & select from which shop had what you are looking for as you head back north. K-Coast has a good selection as do some other OC shops, but you still have sales tax.

First learn how to spell DELAWARE. Then go to Liquid boardshop. Best shop in town.

Yeah, Fenwick Island surf shop is definately worth the visit. Very nice people and a pleasure to deal with. Be sure to check them out and grab a bite at Oceanside next door, good food and down home vibes.

I'd pay the tax and go to Chaunceys in OC. And if you ever need a board repaired, he does the best work in town BY FAR!!!
