How often do you guys see sharks on the east coast?

Where go I see 5-6 footers almost almost every time I surf, or someone that is out spots one.

That's a lot considering how low visibility that water is.

I have found if you look for them, you will find them, if you don't, you rarely will. Summer and Fall you can't help but notice.

haha Trev I read that the other day too. You gotta have some serious willpower not to think of that while surfing out there. I hear if you wear lots of shiny jewelry the sharks tend to leave you alone.

Saw my first one on Friday. Well, the first one that made me feel uneasy. Usually, I will see a little 1 ft sand shark swimming around in the shallows. On Friday, I saw what I believe to be a 4ft black tip. It attacked a small school of fish, and I got a look at it for about 5 seconds. It was big enough to make me paddle the opposite direction. 1 big guy after 3 years of surfing isn't so bad.

Gonna be slop. Trust me, and in regards to the sharks... If you do, don't surf the outer cape. Whitey's in town.

normal sharks I would go in the water.18ft great whites I will not.saw some show on discovery channel with the 2 navy seal dudes, dual survival or some shyt, and they had to swim to another island and they got circled by a bunch of sharks and the dude just poked it with an oar and they all swam away...so yea be vigilant..

Sharks don't scare me. Big waves do. Multiple wave hold downs do.
