Didn't notice that, good catch man. Sound hunting tactic.

So if you bored gets bumped, better check your six.

Yeah I'm wondering if it was just a one off thing. And that's a young hammer, so maybe he's just as angry as I was in my youth. Or maybe he was just starving. Weird though.

We didn't even bother trying to catch hammers, they were boring as hell to bring in (like most sharks).

    http://www.indianriverbyair.com/tagged/Sharks

Scroll down about half way and see huge number of sharks at Sebastian Inlet, taken on a powered parachute. The website has some pretty cool shots since they fly low and slow,

About 20 years ago my dad and I were fishing off ft laud bch. In our 15' bow rider(it was maybe 1-2' seas), beautiful day, maybe 1 mile out. A hammerhead came along side and was atleast bigger than the boat by a foot maybe 2. Thank the universe she wasn't aggressive like that little one.

You & your friends are morons MIS. What did you expect to happen?

Let's hear your passive aggro response, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz, what is it.

Put you on the GG local through Greenpoint & you'd be, like, oh my gawd those men had me bent over the turnstile!

Darwin is ready for your entrance into his kingdom, MIS t'ing.

It's just that you can't resist being true to yourself MIS thing & that's a passive aggro khunt who sits alone in its stanky bedroom playing with.....well, whatever the surgeons left dangling.

I had a friend catch a big ass blue a week after a blitz (people walking on the beach got toes bit off). It was out of the water for a long time. He drug it to his truck, laid it on the tailgate, and as he was reaching in to get his scale, the fish clamped on his shin and died latched on. When there's waves, my mind goes blank and the only thing I want is to be able to make it out. I was out at Guacalillio in CR when a big croc came out. I couldn't believe what I saw. I asked a Tico if that was one. He said yes, he lives here. I went in after a couple more waves. I never admitted to being a safe surfer. That's obvious by all my scars and lumps. God protects me. But will smite me if I go astray. Here's my theme song.

Cue me yawning, because you're boring MIS, just plain & old & plain old boring.

Your shtick is the same passive-aggro backstabbing gig you've always displayed.
My shtick is the HOTY (for which I win awards, mind you).

You seem preoccupied with how often I surf.
I actually don't care one bit if you surf.

You claim to be Slater's left nut good as a surfer.
I make no claims, ever, in my tired ol' surfing.

And you're on the Forum more than anyone, check it out:
you are averaging 185 posts per month. That's 6 posts a day, every day for 2 years!
    Me? 70 per month.

It's always a measure of your own bizarro-ness when you take your own issues & project them onto another person, MIS. Have you tried professional counseling yet? Or again?

Go see Riled Up Martin - - he'll fix your wagon for you.

The North end of VB is a murky mess. Lot's of current. I can't remember ever seeing anything under my board. I never dangle my legs off my board. Last century, I was out and people north of me started screaming and thrashing. I thought maybe a horse fly was biting them. There was a dark mass around them I thought was a cloud shadow because it was moving south. I soon found out it was blues. a zillion snapping jaws. Luckily my boards, except my first (5'2") were always 6'8" and over. I've seen them sun schools of trout(?) up on dry sand.

Blues are ruff customers. Used to fish for them from buddy's boat out on LI Sound. Battlers.

Like piranha if they get into a feeding frenzy. I've caught them just by throwing a shiny bare hook in the water when they are going nuts like that. I won't go near a school of blues in the ocean.
