www.windguru.com Surfline's High-Res Wind NAM under 'Charts' dropdown is decent for 36-48 hrs out, as good / bad as any of the others in re Mid-Atlantic.
wow pretty excited,i don't think I ever seen a surfline forecast that actually said "good" and "best in north jersey" in the same sentence...u know its going off when surfline gives it a "fair" rating
How was MIS? Did the swell show what the reports had it at? It was way smaller here than i was hoping for. Yesterday was the bigger day, where i went anyhow. Didn't even get to get the bigger board wet.
rumor has it yesterday was really big 15 with occasional 18 footers at the bay the quote I heard was 'Nathan Fletcher had one I wanted no part of' from a guy who lives by the bay I scored this afternoon, only like 5-6 guys at the boil, got a half dozen 'warm up' waves in the 6-8 foot range got my 10'o and my impact vest getting ready for Friday, got to get my ish together in my head
weather undergrounds wind is always on point. i can never rely on swellinfos and surflines winds oh man, good luck dude
It's here and it looks solid on the cams , blow off work , call the babysitter, tell the powers that be to suck it till tmrw . Gooooo Surfin!!! Yeeeeheeew. Have fun bouyzzzzzzz.
Didn't get out 'till about 3:30... tide was a little low, but the tubes were long and deep! So happy I got to get out and ride a different board for a change. Every wave was a barrel... made some, didn't make some. But every wave offered up a chance to pull inside. Don't you love the power of a wave that pitches waaaaaay out onto the flats... pitching out further than they are tall. That's a rare occasion around here... Even saw Rad Brad at the local...
