Xcel Wetsuits. Revolt TDC vs Infinity X2 TDC vs Infinity Comp TDC

    nice dude glad youve been scoring.

    i blew it on that last eastcoast swell, was up in canada getting trim. looks like we might get a lil ripple this weekend tho

    If you think Matuse suits are warm, it must not get cold where you are. Those suits are terrible for actual cold. Their 4/3 is like a 3/2 and not a particularly warm one. Wind goes right through them.

    Xcel suits are super warm. If you look around the line up in the Northeast, you tend to see a lot of them.

    From warmest and least flexible to most flexible but least warm:

    Drylock-->Revolt-->Comp

    The Infinity X2 is somewhere in the middle I guess. The fuzzy stuff is warm but makes the suit a little heavier. The new suits dry faster than the old ones that had a tendency to stay wet and stink.

    The Comps are great but if it's windy get something with smooth skin.

    One thing about dry lock suits.....I would never buy one thicker than a 4/3. Simple because they are a ***** going on & off. Other wetsuits are just as dry/warm (ripcurls), and much easier handling.
