Well said. only a complete idiot would opt for a single payer system especially one run buy govt bureaucrats. we would be standing on line until we died.
Competition is the only way to drive prices down.

You must be one of the "refuse- to- work-parasites" everybody is whining about. Which is okay with me if you are smart enough to fool morons to pay for it. But, keep this in mind--pendulums swing both ways. Most will not want to be anywhere near you lest they would feel the moral obligation to yell "duck!!".......

Yep 99% of you guys got it right, ACA is a piece of monkey sh!t stuck on the wall and lit on fire. Funny thing is, I bet half of the folks you hear *****ing about the ACA voted for the moronic Monkey who championed it. In 08 everyone screamed for the Change. Nothing changed, poor still be poor and now the rich got even more.

ACA is an entitlement program...rates went up 35%-65%. Very Limited on "shopping" for alternatives...there was only one option for us as a small VA business. I remember one of my little cousins saying he was going to vote for Obama....first term (he was attending a pretty liberal college/university at the time). He voted for him (said he's going to give us free health care)....7 years later, wife and kid and house and mortgage, and real job....He regrets that vote. Socialism will not work in this country....I keep trying to tell ya'll that! You think the national debt (total debt) is a problem now....wait another decade. Be broke as a brothers check book!!!

I'm one of those parasites, apparently. AKA, early retirement. I benefit from the ACA, with a Silver plan there's no way I'd be able to afford otherwise.

Health insurance premiums have been rising for decades, long before Obamacare.

    prediction:

eventually we go single payer. cost will run the program at a deficit. the gov will look for ways to cut costs. the evil rich doctors will be targeted. the gov will limit what a doctor can make. doctors will quit and fewer people will want to be doctors. we have a doctor shortage. wait times will be like forever. going to the doctor will be like going to the DMV.

    thanks obama

Bernie Sanders will make Obamacare look good.
He wants a single payer system that will destroy American health care entirely.

Problem is the lower income and younger folks (not calling you old) were supposed to sign up and help the equation...that did not happen. Middle class is getting the shaft on this debacle.

Premiums increase on average 5-10% per year. Our small group age in mid 40s and we saw a 53% increase and no options in year one....stay tuned b/c we are about to get out renewal....I am sure I will be back *****ing about it.

No offense but if you choose to retire early and complain about how you could not afford coverage....really?

Wasn't a complaint, just a statement. My premium is going up by 50% for 2016, btw, but I'm still thankful to have any health insurance at all.
