Yeah man, I hate to admit this, but I'm getting tired of surfing shat waves in frigid temps.

Guess your just a tough cookie.

I was in a quality 3/2 and got cold after 2 hours in very early am. Couldn't stop shaking after hour 2...Got out, went home and grabbed some grub, put on a 4/3 and surfed another 5 hours til dark. Early am was prime...dropped off big time in mid late afternoon.

Of course I have no thyroid hormone and on replacement...guess Iam just not as tolerant of cold.

Zero, where you surf at yesterday? Surfed at the inlet from about 10-2 then down to OC for the afternoon. OC was actually really good. Got some sick new drone footage.

Funny ****, I thought the same thing about everyone with boots and hoods. The water was like 65, and the air too. I had my collar undone and was letting water in my suit to cool off LOL. Getting out yesterday with the wind sucked balls tho.

Pure, I was at the inlet from 7:30am until about 11/11:30 ish. It just kept getting worse. Thought about running to OC but I ended up going home

I recycle my old 5/4's as in between suits. so far my 6 year old leaky hooded dry lock has been good. I refuse to buy another 4/3.

I get hot, take off the hood. I get cold put on the hood.

i know exactly whT youre saying. i have a super ****ty/leaky 3/2 (like holes in the crotch and back seams)that i didnt even bother to use past Mid october because its so ****ty. lately ive been using my unhooded o'neill mutant 5/4 with no booties or gloves and ive been toasty (maybe almost too toasty).

at the end of the day, it comes down to the quality and condition of your suite

tldr: DONT GET A QUIKSILVER SYNCRO SUIT THEY STINK

Have a QS Synchro 4/3. Bought it used 3 years ago, and it got me through 3 winters here in VB. I rinse mine out after use, so it doesn't stink. It's still holding up (ankles and cuffs are pretty worn), but am Looking for a 5/4 or 5/4/3 for this winter. Around or just under $200. Want more rubber. Getting older myself. Also don't want a suit that I injure myself getting in and out of.

yeH man not gonna lie my 3/2 is a bit small on me which may have contributed to its short lifespan. but the liner on the inside of the suite is pretty much falling apart and is fraying out if my wriists and ankles which i know is not due to its small fit

    Hey LOOKATME,

I know you think you're cute. And I know you think you're cuming-on here like some new bash character...

But get a better game if you want attention.

Did you see those guys towing into 2-3 foot waves Friday? Stopped by IR to take a look on the way home from OC. They were out around 1:30, pretty silly considering it was waist high by that point and still quite a few people in the water.

Yeah, it kinda blew from about noon on. I went down to OC on a whim and scored. Stopped at Fenwick and it was chest high empty barrels, but beach break. Check out my IG for pics. I wish I knew you were there, woulda caught up! Maybe I'll catch ya this week/weekend. Looks like we are gonna get another round. I'm staying in town till it fizzles out.

LOL, I saw that dude rip out of the inlet on the jet ski. I said to the dude next to me, that doesn't look fun at all. He must have been cold AF. And I didn't see them towing, otherwise I woulda droned them and made fun. And I don't make fun of people LMAO. I left right after that ski came out. The outgoing tide pretty much killed it. I have some sick drone vid of the waves there in the morning. Still editing from Friday. I'll post up eventually!

Hey, Jeremy and Mitch, do either of you guys know Paul, he drives a white car, lives in Milton? Surfs a white short board? I was hanging out with him on Friday and forgot to get his contact info. I have some good drone footage of him. I'm sure I'll see him sometime this week, just figured someone on here might know him.
