hello si forum peoples. thank you for your posts, they have provided me enjoyment and good surfing information over the years. also thank you to management for administrating the site and providing free surf forecasts, you do a great job. si has been a good resource for me in developing my waterman skills. for years i was landlocked in upstate new york, where i took advantage of its other outdoor sports opportunities like mountains, lakes, snow and sneaking into SPAC. as a competitive swimmer from a young age through post-college, swimming was my super power and i always gravitated toward water. Annual family camping trips to assateague always left me wanting more surf, but also less wild horse peeing continuously for 3 minutes on the cooler. we would ride the waves on cheap bodyboards and canvas surf mats. it wasn't until i moved closer to the ocean and got access to a place on the beach that i got into proper surfing, sup surfing and sup racing, but my passion for it has only grown. beneath the thrill of competition inherent to surfing, the roots of this passion are twofold. There is the satisfaction of progress in learning a new discipline. There is also the purity of the challenge. location: mid atlantic status: married with little kids picture of girlfriend/wife: maybe later years surfing: 8 favorite board: c4 sub vector 9'3 (used to be live4truth's) footedness: regular leash technique: attach distractedly with masking tape favorite leash technique authority: bradpitted preferred sand reconne methode: phase differencing bathymetric sonar default break: ocnj favorite break: hanalei driving: an outback sipping: beer and bourbon mostly college major: psychology profession: IT crossover sports: water polo, xc and downhill skiing guilty pleasure: gta V zonk name: kid cock favorite council of elrond attendee: glorfindel favorite rochambeau combo: triple scissors recent movie I liked: only lovers left alive recent song I liked: phantom redux by shirt favorite hand tool: channellock 12" plier times arm wrestling njshredmachine: 31 losses: 31 flawless victory losses: 31 fatalities: 31 fighting style: northern praying mantis special move: grundle lock finishing move: eagle catches prey
