Yea the 20th on looks like GOLD!! But if can make a suggestion on a trip for you I'd say go down to PR or even the Dominican and just kick it for a while. Crowds will be down a bit and youll still have winter swell.

 

I'd move to Cranston, RI and do meth.

 

Indo...not sure how long 8K would keep you going, but it would get you there and back.

 

Forget PR, the place sucks now (socially speaking, crowded breaks, etc)
I like the Indo idea. There will come a day you will no longer be able to go (age, job, marriage, etc); go while you can. The more remote the better (if even that exists anymore anywhere on the planet).

Island hop the Caribbean, stretch that money as far as you can

 

As much as I love the Caribbean, I'd say Algarve and north.

 

I dunno man...I gots kids, a wife, a house, and a demanding job. If I could squeeze it in, I would do Kauai for 10 days at some point in Jan/Feb/Mar, then I would swing down to centro for another 10 days. Nothing too gnarly or intense travel-wise, but I'm down for getting quality waves.

 

yea 8 grand is a little low,id like to explore the remote islands in Fiji and the atolls.u see 1 epic wave like cloudbreak,thats part of like a 200 island chain,theres bound to be better waves around the corner.but 8 grand,it costs like 3 grand to fly there since u cant fly straight there from the states.then u have to pay for ur room/boards/drugs,etc...

my dream trip would be to go back in time 40 years and get to surf the northshore while it was still vacant,sleep in a tent on the beach,and drink all day.thats how those old Hawaiians did it lol...
its amazing how prosurfing sold out the northshore,40years ago u could get a house at pipeline for roughly 40grand,now its around 6-10 million!!!!!I wish I was alive in the old days

 

This time of year, I'd do the Caribbean for Jan - Mar, then jump to the Pacific (CR and Nica) for April and May when the South swells start pumping.

 

also a france,portugal,spain drive through would be an epic trip.besides epic waves,they have really hot women there,like smoking hot lol.that would be a great trip

 

I'm actually going to nica last week of February already booked,just waiting.its going to be nice to get out of the states for 2 weeks lol
