Yes and a therapeutic replacement dose is actually excellent for health and enjoyment of life. It's the supraphysiological doses that individuals take for performance or aesthetics that are so far out of whack is when you start really messing with the body systems on many levels. Nature strives for balance and revolts when we oppose that. We know from the ocean that nature will win out in the end.
Bruh, I've always been el naturale. Don't lump me in with you and U2B. I don't judge, and what you do with your body is your own choice. I'm not party to that practice, however. I've added to dis tread simply on extensive academic knowledge of the topic since we examined it to a heavy graduate level in my college program. Funny post tho.
Probably because he gets shots every 10 to 14 days of the cypionate or enanthate ester which causes spikes then lulls (long period!) in his T blood levels. They don't often prescribe it but the propionate ester every 3 days would be ideal. Keep everything at a steady state. Infrequent injections make a man's hormones go up and down like a woman's.
4 diff ones actually bro. The prop and phenylprop make up over a third of the milligram content so you need twice weekly injects to keep steady blood levels. You don't hit as many lows in between weekly or longer shots with the blend, but imagine if you had a daily psych med that had varying dosage from day to day. Wouldn't be optimal. Test is perhaps our most critical psych med believe it or not. Problem with the blend is that it's not injected nearly enough because practitioners think you can go longer in between shots since the extra long-acting ester (decanoate) stays fairly constant over time. But that's only 40% of the total. It's a much larger conversation, but I'm not sure any M.D. should be able to prescribe medications outside their specialized domain. In my opinion, GP's should only be able to write scripts for simple meds since their education and training is so surface level in almost everything. The wrong therapeutic intervention can make a disorder or illness worse and cause several new ones.
That's probably why they call it a "practice". You could go to 100 different practitioners and get 99 different analyses. I would say that it's a pretty safe bet that none of them would prescribe T as a "psych med", though LOL.
Believe it or not, some urologists out there now do prescribe it largely for that. One of the same reasons women get estrogen replacement later in life. The body needs it's natural chemicals at normal physiological dosages. Fountain of youth bro. Especially low-dose GH for replacement purposes as well.
I got burned and punched in the chest at the same time a few months back, I laughed it off. Most times I laugh it off. A head injury back in the day and the ease of being concussed usually reminds me not to push it with people who arent worth the time
These old therads are great. Michael JR, the steroid consuming, AR wielding, elderly protecting LB'er of SI.
Youre the man blasters, happened at my locale, up north of the greatest break on earth. A stadium of sorts, the boys go there to get their fotos taken and to prove themselves amongst the pack of other medicore surfers. (same reason I was there) The barrels are short, the rocks are large, and the testosterone is sucked out of the water like krill. I got a big old farm, ill put you up with seldom, have a good feeling he's gonna just show up one day and live in the pasture with that wolfdog of his.
You were surfing the squan jerz , idk why but people don't act like that in the south probably cause everyone has guns and Ppl are crazy might get ur sht thrown in the water.
1989 Apple bay Tortola right in front of Bombas, surf was about tit high, local kid next to me acts like he going left so I say right and drop in, next thing I know he's behind me right on my ass, so I bail out the back then he bails right after me. Im thinking, well that's a waste of a nice little wave and then the kid starts yelling at me (couldn't understand a word of it) so I just stare at him to see if he's going anything and he just paddles off toward the beach. I paddle back out to the lineup and watch as the kid reached the beach and goes up into the bushes, he comes out with a stick about 3' long about thick around as a quarter and starts paddling back out with it in his teeth, so I'm just sitting on my board watching and as he gets to about 6' from me I calmly say dude if your gonna hit me with that you need a bigger stick! He again yells something at me and I just sit there with my arms folded and he paddles around me down the lineup to this blonde headed grommet from Fla knocks him off his board and proceeds to bash the crap out of the deck of his board with the stick. I saw the kid from Fla on the beach later and said to him man I would have drowned him right there on the spot, the kid says I know him he's like that all the time
Best surf fight story: This goes back to the late 80s in OC. Two local kids who didn't particularly like each other to begin with had words in the water and took it to the beach. One was a very talented, sponsored and very fit big sucker and the other was a fairly average surfer of small stature. A hand full of us followed them in to watch the fireworks. A ring formed around the two under the boardwalk as the two exchanged f-bombs and insults as things escalated. It went to blows and the much smaller kid opened a major can of whoopAss on his much larger challenger. Bloodied him up pretty good. Just such a classic story from the good old days at 7th street. Looking back, that instance set the big kid in that fight down a life path that I don't think he ever got out of. Still see him around town from time to time.
"It's not he size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog" Thanks for sharing HAHA
