I think all these surf clubs that keep popping up should have to fight each other in the lot for beach break rights. It would be a great thing to watch, bunch of middle aged men fistie-cuffing a few bored housewives. It could be sponsored by Walden.
Surf clubs?? Never heard of one up here. Do they have meetings?? Picnics?? Group surf sessions?? Spouse swaps?? Club surf trips?? Dues?? Sounds so very ghey to me....... Maybe Riley should start one......
I would say have leader of each "crew" (usually the smallest and loudest ) either take a dump in a bag and most weight wins bragging rights or which woman crew member has the ugliest junk (roast beef labia usually wins )
The last surf fight I noticed in NH was 2 soccer moms fighting over the attention of young "surf instructor "
I got beat up once in San Francisco, CA by an older well known local at Ocean Beach. I hate admitting this. In a Star Wars reference, he was on a longboard punching down at me. He had the higher ground. ****ing guy was out of his mind! Come to find out, he had just been dumped by his girl for a younger version of him. For a long time, i had hoped to catch him on land, but it was a resentment that i needed to drop. He was an angry old ****. I had some small redemption on a 9 foot at 24 seconds day while suiting up and he pulled up. This girl who was a local bodysurfer, Judie, asked him if he was paddling out and he said no. I kinda chuckled, but kept my mouth shut. Just suited up and paddled out. Broke a board that day. Hm. I miss Ocean Beach.
