On a 3/2 I'd try to repair it. On a winter suit I wouldn't bother, just get a new one. I know I know there expensive. But I'd rather be warm and not have to worry when there be snows on these here sands

Neither rip is bad enough to warrant a full replacement. That being said, it's on its 5th winter and I'll probably look to replace with end-of-season sales in a few months. I just want it to get me through this year and serve as a back-up suit for 2nd sessions next year.

I have used the iron on. works really well. If you go the rubber cement route, DONT cake it on. apply a thin layer, let dry, then repeat. if you just put a blob it will take forever to dry on the inside.

I had at least a 4" if not 6" cut directly across the throat on my 5/4. Have used it at least 10xs since the repair. The glue is da bomb! Ive tried everything over the years and this stuff is amazing can re-do seems and pro long the life if your suite

Hahaha yeah I replace my suits every two years whether it has holes or not. Since my previous statement was of no use to you, I'll add this. I used crazy glue (sparingly) to repair a glove once. It worked fine. Replaced the gloves a day later anyway so don't know if it would of held up long term. But it got me through a sesh until I could get to the shop and replace them

Needle and waxed dental floss. I did this on my 5 mil a few years ago and works fine!
