Navarre has good surf though. The panhandle is about the only place on gulf side that produces waves. But p-cola does suck
Hey bro. Been a while. I come back and all of a sudden SUP dude is aggro. he could say why I am wrong. maybe I dissed his spot. SUP dude, this right? and yeah the avatar is one of my best bird like moments!
Maybe he is mad because he missed you. Looks like we might have a little bump this weekend. If so, i'll be down
No, you just said something that was completely false is all. I was giving you a hard time, don't be so sensitive. Zero is this your boy? If so, tell him if he's going to chime in, come correct HAHAHA
I'm sure he is Z, i'm sure he is Is he originally a Gulfster like you and I too? Never mind, I'll ask him myself.... Hey MotherF*ckinCondor, did you live on the Gulf at one point? Maybe we're long lost friends? I live in Melbourne now, but grew up in WFL (Clearwater / Dunedin area). Dudes from Clearwater to Captiva Island have been getting lots of waves lately! I even thought about driving back over but it's been consistent here for a while too, so no need.
Right on dude, so that explains why you were referencing the panhandle. Clearwater can definitely get good at times, check out Sand Key and 880 Mandalay if you're in the area ever. Also, Indian Rocks, Treasure Island (Sunset Beach) / St. Pete Beach are decent from time to time. My personal favorite is Venice Jetty on a NW cold front, as well as Anna Maria Island. Captiva gets good too, but I never make it that far South. Naples has a decent pier that can be fun too, but again I never make it down there. Lots of spots, but as you know, it's fickle and can be disappointing more than good, but when it's on, it's on and some of those spots can be East Coast quality a few times per year.
Yup, yup and yup, done that! DP, I don't know if I ever asked ya. Did you ever skip school and hang out at the Clearwater Youth Center near Mandalay?
Can't say that I did Z, but I did spend time in the Mandalay surf shop from time to time and getting lots of parking tickets up near 880 and Carlouel. Spent many a nights on that stretch of beach making little bon fires and getting in trouble with the cops for banging my chick in the dunes and partying with friends, underage drinking, and raising hell. Surfed Pier 60 a couple times, don't think you can get away with it these days, but haven't been there in quite some time. Actually, now that I think of it, I did skip school a handful of times and cause trouble up and down that stretch of Mandalay and on the beach. Usually high out of my mind on some good ole fashion skunk weed, remember skunk? Man how times have changed.
